Cape Bank is a local business steeped in tradition and grounded in our community. The Bank recognizes that in order for a community to grow and thrive, time and money must be invested in our community.

We believe the dedication to employee volunteerism is one of the important ways to improve the well-being of our fellow citizens. Because we are dedicated to this community, Cape Bank established an employee volunteer program in 1996 called Cape Cares, which was designed to encourage and reward employee participation.

In January, 2008, as part of Cape Bancorp Initial Public Offering, a charitable foundation was formed and 7 million dollars in a combination of cash and Cape Bancorp Holding Company stock was contributed to the foundation to provide it with an endowment. The CapeBank Charitable Foundation will allow the entire community to share in the growth of Cape Bank and enhance the strong partnership the Bank has already created in the community.
